Seminar: First Steps Towards Developing an Emergency Response Network
"Are you ready? - Einladung zum NFDI4Culture Seminar zu Notfallverbünden" CC0 Autor:in: Katja Sternitzke
Our cultural heritage faces numerous threats, including natural disasters, fires, accidents, wars, theft, vandalism, cyberattacks, and power outages. Climate change has further intensified these risks.Since autumn 2025, NFDI4Culture has placed a special focus on resilience. We aim to raise awareness of risks and support GLAM institutions and collections in better preparing for crises through preventive measures.
This seminar provides an introduction to emergency response networks. Together with our guest expert, Armin Schlechter, we will examine the benefits of emergency response networks, how they work, and how to find a suitable emergency response network nearby.
