Public final conference of the transdisciplinary research project TOPORAZ/ TRANSRAZ

A two-day final conference presents the results of the innovative research project TRANSRAZ (Nuremberg Topography in Space and Time), on which researchers from University of Greifswald and Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure (FIZ Karlsruhe) worked intensively for three years: Three-dimensional digital models reconstruct the (destroyed) Nuremberg city space from the Baroque period to the present. They were linked with numerous historical sources and images. The resulting virtual research environment enables new insights for citizens as well as innovative ways of working for the digital humanities.
