Culture Community Plenary 6: Call for Papers!
By Dr. Lisa Dieckmann
The Culture Community Plenary (CCP), taking place from 9 to 11 November 2026 at the Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Bochum, is NFDI4Culture’s largest annual event. It serves as a central forum for exchange between the consortium and the community, as well as among community members themselves. The Plenary offers opportunities for networking, reporting on achievements, and shaping the future of the initiative. Projects and initiatives in the fields of tangible and intangible cultural heritage are invited to present their work to the 4Culture community. For CCP6, we are offering a variety of formats to strengthen collaborative research and foster broad knowledge exchange.
We welcome abstracts (1–2 pages) on the following topics:
- Research data projects in the culture disciplines at any stage
- We especially encourage interdisciplinary initiatives and concrete use cases for data reuse!
- New developments, tools, and services
- Standardization challenges
- Concepts, ideas, and cross-cutting priorities
Submission formats:
- Presentations (20 minutes + discussion)
- Pecha-Kucha (20 slides × 20 seconds)
- Workshops, Datathons, Hackathons (3 hours)
- Posters (presented at the Market of Opportunities)
