As part of our NFDI4Culture Knowledge Base, a new guide has been published to provide perfect support to research projects in the field of social media when drawing up a data protection policy.

On the initiative of Vincent Fröhlich – Jasmin Riedl, Wiebke Drews and Johannes Steup have drawn on their own experience a comprehensive guide that takes interested colleagues step by step through the numerous requirements for a data protection policy, thereby closing a frequently cited gap in the field of social media research. Projects that collect social media data are provided with explanation s of the requirements and ready-made text modules for their data protection policy.
