Quality standards, such as the FAIR principles, are essential for sustainable research data. But how can the quality of data offerings be comprehensively recorded, evaluated and measured? Our recently published report summarises the contributions of Task Area 2 (Standards, data quality and curation) from this year's forum 'Measuring the quality of cultural data - but how? Concepts, methods, potentials and the NFDI4Culture approach'.

The text is aimed primarily at data providers and producers who are faced with fundamental questions regarding the testing and assurance of their data quality. The introduction focuses on the relevance and basic definition of all aspects of data quality, as well as various models for evaluating it. These are broken down according to the needs of our communities. Next, the consortium's approach to establishing a quality management system tailored to specific needs, based on preliminary considerations from the first project phase, is presented. Finally, the publication provides an outlook on measures for implementing data quality in our data offerings in the second funding phase.
