Our newly published guideline by Grischka Petri and Katja Sternitzke comes as a descicion tree and adresses the different legal aspects that need to be considered in the field of 3D digitisation. It supports cultural heritage institutions in clarifying their rights for 3D digitisation and the publication of 3D data from their collections. The decision tree was originally developed based on a use case at the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation in Berlin, but can be adapted for other cultural heritage institutions.
It can be found in our Knowledge Base: https://nfdi4culture.de/id/E6625
The data publication including the PDF-File is to be found on Zenodo Handreichung zur Rechteklärung bei 3D-Digitalisierung in Kulturerbeinstitutionen
