Two new versions of our guidelines have recently been published in the Culture Knowledge Base here on the NFDI4Culture portal.
The first is a revised version of Angela Kailus's Guideline for a FAIR Management of Cultural Research Data – already a frequently consulted standard work on the subject of FAIR cultural data – which is now also available in English. It explains what these guidelines, the FAIR principles, mean and how they can be implemented in cultural studies and cultural heritage collections.
One of our first educational publikactions, the Guideline for the sustainable development and use of research software from the Research Tools and Data Services division, is now also available in a revised version (in german only). In collaboration with our colleagues from the Expert Forum, the text has not only been updated, but ecological aspects have also been increasingly taken into account in considerations on sustainable software development and – addressing a current topic – recommendations for dealing with artificial intelligence have been added.
