2nd CRDA Forum "GLAM digital – Data skills for cultural heritage institutions"
description

The Cultural Research Data Academy (CRDA) of NFDI4Culture is an interdisciplinary and decentralised institution dedicated to training and education in the field of data and code literacy for the communities of art history, musicology, film and media studies, architecture, and cultural heritage institutions. In the coming years, the work of the CRDA will bundle existing offers in this area, identify gaps and fill them with needs-oriented offers.

This year, the Cultural Research Data Academy is hosting a forum with the thematic focus "GLAM digital – Data skills for cultural heritage institutions" from the 3rd to 4th of November 2022 in Marburg.

The hybrid event is aimed at GLAM staff, trainees and study program coordinators with questions about existing and missing offers for training and further education opportunities in the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums), with a thematic range from research data management to data and code literacy. Therefore, the forum presents itself as an exchange and networking platform and offers versatile networking formats in which participants can get to know the services of NFDI4Culture, initiatives and institutions on site and exchange ideas. The event will be held in German.

The event will be held at the conference room of the DSA | Forschungszentrum Deutscher Sprachatlas (Pilgrimstein 16, 35037 Marburg) and is supported by the Marburg Center for Digital Culture and Infrastructure (MCDCI).
