NFDI4Culture Metadata API
Metadata of all resources as Linked Open Data
The NFDI4Culture portal offers all content as Linked Open Data over this RESTful API. The API implements the Hydra-Specification of the W3C Hydra Community Group. The semantic description of this API can be retrieved by clients via the Hydra documentation file (JSON). Each metadata record offered via this API can also be retrieved in one of following machine-readable LOD serializations. The API is the basis for the Culture Research Information Graph, which together with the Culture Research Data Graph forms the Culture Knowledge Graph (for more details see this presentation).

The Bundesverband Theatersammlungen im deutschsprachigen Raum (TheSiD) e.V., the Derra de Moroda Dance Archives of the University of Salzburg (Department of Art History, Musicology and Dance Studies) and the AG ARCHIV of the Gesellschaft für Theaterwissenschaft, invites you to the fifth digital workshop ‘Sammlung trifft Forschung’ to continue the exchange of perspectives on research, collection and artistic practice.
This time, the focus is on the so-called ‘small’ archives and collections of the performing arts, which have to work with limited resources. This has a lasting effect on their visibility, external impact and perception within the academic community and their specific use for scientific, artistic or educational purposes.
The aim of the digital workshop is to raise awareness of such institutions, discuss problems and explore perspectives that can contribute to better collaboration and networking.
Please find attached the detailed programme and the description of the workshops offered. With the exception of Workshop 2, which will be held in English, all other sessions will be in German.
Further information and the opportunity to register by 18.11.2024 can be found at https://ddmarchiv.eu/sammlung-trifft-forschung-v/.
The event is supported by NFDI4Culture, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) - 441958017.
