NFDI4Culture Metadata API
Metadata of all resources as Linked Open Data
The NFDI4Culture portal offers all content as Linked Open Data over this RESTful API. The API implements the Hydra-Specification of the W3C Hydra Community Group. The semantic description of this API can be retrieved by clients via the Hydra documentation file (JSON). Each metadata record offered via this API can also be retrieved in one of following machine-readable LOD serializations. The API is the basis for the Culture Research Information Graph, which together with the Culture Research Data Graph forms the Culture Knowledge Graph (for more details see this presentation).

Over a year ago, the so called OER.NET-Group was founded. Now we present ourselves and our work at the nfdi e. V.'s NFDITalk series!
OER.NET is an open to all group of researchers from different nfdi consortia as well as Data Competency Centres (Datenkompetenzzentren) from the field of historic, cultural and object-related data. As the name suggests, the group focuses on the topic of Open Educational Resources (OER): how to create them, how to present them, what metadata to use, what quality criteria to apply and other related questions.
In the upcoming NFDITalk, we will focus on OER-Metadata, one of the main topics of our work to date.
The talk will be held by Andrea Polywka (NFDI4Culture), Petra Steiner (DALIA), Marina Lemaire (NFDI4memory, HERMES), Jonathan Geiger (NFDI4Culture, DALIA) an Katharina Bergmann (NFDI4Culture).
We piqued your interest? Join us at the NFDITalk on 19th May!
The talk will be held in English. More information and access via the website of the nfdi e. V.: https://www.nfdi.de/talks/.
For all those who have missed the talk, can also access the recorded version on the NFDITalk-YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg5uzqqtrWo&list=PL08nwOdK76Qk30oYdqX3ST7aKdmzqF3LR&index=26
