NFDI4Culture Metadata API
Metadata of all resources as Linked Open Data
The NFDI4Culture portal offers all content as Linked Open Data over this RESTful API. The API implements the Hydra-Specification of the W3C Hydra Community Group. The semantic description of this API can be retrieved by clients via the Hydra documentation file (JSON). Each metadata record offered via this API can also be retrieved in one of following machine-readable LOD serializations. The API is the basis for the Culture Research Information Graph, which together with the Culture Research Data Graph forms the Culture Knowledge Graph (for more details see this presentation).

BauDi-Contentathon 2025 - 24h workshop for digital research data
15.07.2025 (3 pm) to 16.07.2025 (3 pm)
Martin Luther University Halle-WittenbergResearch software is often rich in functionalities, but usually also complex in its infrastructure and not always easy to maintain. These aspects are exacerbated when the capacities of a project are severely limited (e.g. in one-person projects such as dissertation projects, theses or project seminars, etc.).
This was also the experience with “Baumann-Digital”, which was created as a “side” project as part of a dissertation project. Unfortunately, one of the most important aspects of this software also fell by the wayside: The documentation.
This “work” workshop is not a series of lectures and discussions, but a working meeting to work on concrete solutions. The focus is on advancing the documentation of Baumann-Digital's research software.
Ideally, two sets of documentation will be produced: a technical one and a user guide to facilitate subsequent use. Depending on the composition of the group of participants, work can also be done on the software itself (updates, optimizations, bug-fixing, Dockerization, Github CI/CD).

15:00-16:30 Block I (check-in, topic groups and workshop structure)
17:00-18:30 Block II (topic groups)
