NFDI4Culture Metadata API
Metadata of all resources as Linked Open Data
The NFDI4Culture portal offers all content as Linked Open Data over this RESTful API. The API implements the Hydra-Specification of the W3C Hydra Community Group. The semantic description of this API can be retrieved by clients via the Hydra documentation file (JSON). Each metadata record offered via this API can also be retrieved in one of following machine-readable LOD serializations. The API is the basis for the Culture Research Information Graph, which together with the Culture Research Data Graph forms the Culture Knowledge Graph (for more details see this presentation).

Practice Meets Dialogue – Share questions. Find solutions
We’ll be meeting for a 60-minute online chat during the lunch break to discuss topics suggested by the community.
Thu, June 25, 1 p.m.: Featured topic: The unknown user – which tools have proven effective in user research, and what aspects do we need to bear in mind?
In this session, we’ll take a look at the theme of the 9th Retrodigitisation Workshop, which will take place in Hanover in March 2027.
What interesting questions do you have on this topic, which aspects are important to you, and what solutions have you perhaps already found? Just drop by and help us shape the agenda for the 9th WSRD together.Join the Zoom Meeting: No registration needed.
This event is part of our monthly series Hands-on Dialogue on Digitisation, organised by and for (retro-)digitisation practitioners from libraries, archives, museums, galleries and collections. As always, the focus is on your specific practical questions. NFDI4Culture provides the platform – you simply bring your topics, challenges or experiences.
In an open, collegial setting, you can engage in discussion, find solutions together, share best practices and learn from one another.
