NFDI4Culture Metadata API
Metadata of all resources as Linked Open Data
The NFDI4Culture portal offers all content as Linked Open Data over this RESTful API. The API implements the Hydra-Specification of the W3C Hydra Community Group. The semantic description of this API can be retrieved by clients via the Hydra documentation file (JSON). Each metadata record offered via this API can also be retrieved in one of following machine-readable LOD serializations. The API is the basis for the Culture Research Information Graph, which together with the Culture Research Data Graph forms the Culture Knowledge Graph (for more details see this presentation).

From now on, all key information for the Culture Communities will be regularly compiled at a glance on the Culture Information Portal under Culture Information Services. There, the most relevant and up-to-date information from a wide range of announcements, countless mailing lists and other sources for the multidisciplinary NFDI4Culture communities is curated, structured and presented at regular intervals. Thanks to our Development Team, publication is automated via our Multichannel Publishing Pipeline. Information that was previously distributed exclusively via NFDI4Culture Rocket.Chat channels is now also automatically displayed as a feed on the Culture Information Portal, making it centrally and easily accessible in one place for all interested parties.
These three information services are now available to you:
Every Tuesday, the Culture Information Ticker provides you with an overview of current calls for proposals, exciting exhibitions, recently published conference proceedings and much more.
The Culture Weekly keeps you informed about selected GLAM and DH events from across the NFDI4Culture communities – find out every Monday what’s on for the current and coming week.
To help you stay up to date in an international context, the International Landscape Report provides a monthly overview of selected international conferences, networks, calls for proposals and publications
And we’re not finished yet... Stay tuned – the next roll out is around the corner!
Pssst: We’ll keep you updated on these and all other topics in our quarterly newsletter. Feel free to subscribe to our mailing list, the NFDI4Culture Newsletter.
