The database on Jewish gravestone epigraphy epidat serves the inventory, documentation, editing, and presentation of epigraphic sollections. Personal data, diplomatic transcriptions and translations of the inscriptions, as well as descriptions and image files of the gravestones are available online. Furthermore, the archive maintains additional data sets on gravestones built after the year 1955 that are not available online. Continuosly further developed, the beta version adds new research functionalities to the web-based version, as well as a bilingual menu and is optimized for use on mobile devices.
