A joint event with Kulturpool, Austria
Iconclass is a classification system for the iconographic and thematic indexing of works of art and other cultural objects. This multilingual vocabulary supports the interoperability and reusability of data in linked open data contexts and therefore is increasingly used in museums, collections and research projects.
The webinar introduces Iconclass and aims to demonstrate in a practical way how to work with the classification when indexing visual works. In between there are opportunities for questions and discussion.
The event is held in German.
