The team of the Cultural Research Data Academy (CRDA) records the needs for training programmes and further information on research data management as well as data and code literacy. These aspects serve as a focus for the annual forum events of the CRDA, their training courses, meetings with representatives of partner institutions as well as RDM state initiatives and in constant exchange with colleagues from the Culture Communities. On this basis, a curated portfolio – the Educational Resource Finder – has been created, which lists and enables searches of our own course formats as well as external training programmes with information on the various courses and further educational offerings. The selection focuses on FAIR offers that are specifically aimed at the disciplines of our communities, namely art history, musicology, film and media studies, theatre and dance studies as well as architecture. Furthermore the team is in contact with various projects and initiatives regarding Open Educational Resources (OER) and their sustainable provision and reusability. In addition to a regular exchange in the NFDI cross-cutting-section EduTrain and with the DALIA project, the team is active in a working group made up of representatives of DALIA, other NFDI consortia and data competence centres from the humanities and cultural sciences, which discusses metadata as well as exchange formats and develops joint formats.
The offers listed in the Educational Resource Finder are reviewed every six months to ensure that they are up to date and that the content has not changed drastically.
Do you have suitable offers and OERs for our ERF? Please get in touch with our team via the Helpdesk under the keyword ‘Data Literacy’ or use the contact details further down this page.
