NFDI4Culture Metadata API
Metadata of all resources as Linked Open Data
The NFDI4Culture portal offers all content as Linked Open Data over this RESTful API. The API implements the Hydra-Specification of the W3C Hydra Community Group. The semantic description of this API can be retrieved by clients via the Hydra documentation file (JSON). Each metadata record offered via this API can also be retrieved in one of following machine-readable LOD serializations. The API is the basis for the Culture Research Information Graph, which together with the Culture Research Data Graph forms the Culture Knowledge Graph (for more details see this presentation).

On February 22, 2022, Dietmar Kammerer and Christoph Eggersglüß presented NFDI4Culture, its actors, data domains, services, and communities at the 67th annual conference "Conference Lab - Decentralized and Digital" of the German Communication Association (DGPuK). The presentation was part of the workshop „Research Infrastructures for Communication and Media Research“, which developed recommendations for action for the participating disciplines as well as strategies for further cooperation in this field. Based on a recent working paper, after input presentations by the participants and representatives of KonsortSWD and Text+, intensive discussions focused on the consortia's consulting services and helpdesks. In the process, challenges and networking opportunities were explored and considered beyond the individual disciplines in the sense of community participation.
