NFDI4Culture Metadata API
Metadata of all resources as Linked Open Data
The NFDI4Culture portal offers all content as Linked Open Data over this RESTful API. The API implements the Hydra-Specification of the W3C Hydra Community Group. The semantic description of this API can be retrieved by clients via the Hydra documentation file (JSON). Each metadata record offered via this API can also be retrieved in one of following machine-readable LOD serializations. The API is the basis for the Culture Research Information Graph, which together with the Culture Research Data Graph forms the Culture Knowledge Graph (for more details see this presentation).

The Image Database of the Color Slide Archive of Wall and Ceiling Painting contains 39,000 digitised records of important periods of fresco art and murals in churches, monasteries, castles and other secular buildings in Germany, Austria, Poland, Russia (east and west Prussia) and Czech Republic (Bohemia and North Moravia). The time span of the photographed artworks in a total of around 480 buildings ranges from the 10th to the end of the 19th century. Besides the wall and ceiling murals, there is also color photo documentation of wallpaper and paneling and a less extensive collection of architectural elements, stucco, paintings on canvas or panels, and altars.
