NFDI4Culture Metadata API
Metadata of all resources as Linked Open Data
The NFDI4Culture portal offers all content as Linked Open Data over this RESTful API. The API implements the Hydra-Specification of the W3C Hydra Community Group. The semantic description of this API can be retrieved by clients via the Hydra documentation file (JSON). Each metadata record offered via this API can also be retrieved in one of following machine-readable LOD serializations. The API is the basis for the Culture Research Information Graph, which together with the Culture Research Data Graph forms the Culture Knowledge Graph (for more details see this presentation).

Lecture Series: “Show & Tell – Social Media Data in Research Practice” (online)
"Immer Ärger mit den Bildern" (Show & Tell III)
On 1 July, the working group "Social Media-Daten", initiated by NFDI4Culture in cooperation with KonsortSWD and Text+ as part of the National Research Data Infrastructure Germany (NFDI), hosts the third installment of its lecture series.
Margarete Pratschke (HU Berlin), Sven Stollfuß (Universität Leipzig) and Verena Straub (TU Dresden) will present their research on multimodal data under the working title "Immer Ärger mit den Bildern" (held in German) on 1 July at 14:00.
The lecture series "Show & Tell – Social Media Data in Research Practice" is dedicated to the tools in the field of social media research. In each zoom hour short input talks should aim to highlight best practices and selected research projects. In addition to pragmatic solutions and technical possibilities (software, interfaces, repositories, metadata standards, interoperability ...), points of focus will lie on ethical and legal barriers (personal and individual rights, copyrights) in the creation and evaluation of data sets and corpora, as well as the sustainable, secure and critical handling of them (code and data literacy, FAIR & CARE). Last but not least, we would like to invite you to discuss interdisciplinary research approaches and teaching methods that stress both traditional and subject-specific frameworks and tools. We met on 13 May on the topic of 'Twitter Tools' and on 10 June on 'Social Media-Corpora'.
