4Culture Barcamp 2021 - Digitization in NFDI4Culture – Community Kick-off

We are looking forward to the upcoming virtual event

Digitization in NFDI4Culture – Community Kick-off

and would like to welcome you there on

7. and 8.10.2021, 9.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.

The event will take place virtually via Zoom. We kindly ask for your registration via https://barcamps.eu/barcamp-nfdi4culture-digitalisierung-2021/

There you will also find the program and additional information on the event. The inspiration talks on the first day will be held in German, individual sessions of the barcamp on the second day can also be held in other languages.

We will be very happy to help with any questions you may have and would appreciate a short notice to coordination-office(at)nfdi4culture(dot)de

Central to these two days are the intensive exchange and networking with the entire digitization community. This includes, among others, digitization projects in museums, archives as well as research institutions. In addition, the event is aimed at actively involved stakeholders, including those who enrich, curate, develop new services and communication or even standards around the topic of digitization. The program is designed for all levels of experience, from professional digitizers to digitization novices.

The event is divided into two days. To kick things off on the opening day, we would like to spotlight the topic of digitization in cultural heritage and digital humanities with Inspiration Talks from different perspectives addressing specific opportunities and challenges. After the thought-provoking ideas and inspirations of the first day we want to hear from you: you are invited to discuss in more depth important topics in the context of a bar camp on the second day.
